Youth Swim Lessons - Thursday Level 1 The American Red Cross offers a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate swimming and water safety program that teaches you, your child or other family members how to swim skill fully and safely, and think and act safely in, on and around the water. The prerequisite for each level is the successful demonstration of skills from the preceding level, except for Level 1, which has no prerequisites. Enter the pool from the far-left side of school as you face the building from the main driveway. It is 25 yards long, six lanes wide and ranges from four to 12 feet deep, has two one meter boards, and the water is approximately 81 degrees. There are male and female locker rooms with full sized lockers (usable for that daily visits only), showers and hairdryers. CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF SIX ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE OPPOSITE GENDER LOCKER ROOMS. PARENTS MAY BRING CHILDREN TO THE STAFF BATHROOMS IN CONSIDERATION OF OTHER POOL USERS. Spectators/non pool users can utilize the bleacher area, which has a capacity of over 500 people that can be accessed from the upper hallway. Swim hours are posted below and are subject to change.All BOE programs/events have first priority of the poolAll visitors must vacate the building no later than 15 minutes after the posted closing timeAligning with local and state guidelines as well as with the CT Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) we are letting you know that masks will no longer be required to wear when participating, instructing or watching any of our sport programs, youth & adult classes or at aquatic activities that we oversee effective, February 28, 2022.If you or your child still wish to wear one, feel free to do so. Masuk High School Pool - Open/Lap Swim TO CHECK THE MASUK POOL SCHEDULE PLEASE CLICK ON THE APPROPRIATE MONTH UNDER "Additional Forms and Files"The pool is located at Masuk High School–1014 Monroe Turnpike. Enter the pool from the far-left side of school as you face the building from the main driveway. It is 25 yards long, six lanes wide and ranges from four to 12 feet deep, has two one meter boards, and the water is approximately 81 degrees. There are male and female locker rooms with full sized lockers (usable for that daily visits only), showers and hairdryers. CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF SIX ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE OPPOSITE GENDER LOCKER ROOMS. PARENTS MAY BRING CHILDREN TO THE STAFF BATHROOMS IN CONSIDERATION OF OTHER POOL USERS. Spectators/non pool users can utilize the bleacher area, which has a capacity of over 500 people that can be accessed from the upper hallway. Masuk High School Pool - Open/Lap Swim TO CHECK THE MASUK POOL SCHEDULE PLEASE CLICK ON THE APPROPRIATE MONTH UNDER "Additional Forms and Files"The pool is located at Masuk High School–1014 Monroe Turnpike. Enter the pool from the far-left side of school as you face the building from the main driveway. It is 25 yards long, six lanes wide and ranges from four to 12 feet deep, has two one meter boards, and the water is approximately 81 degrees. There are male and female locker rooms with full sized lockers (usable for that daily visits only), showers and hairdryers. CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF SIX ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE OPPOSITE GENDER LOCKER ROOMS. PARENTS MAY BRING CHILDREN TO THE STAFF BATHROOMS IN CONSIDERATION OF OTHER POOL USERS. Spectators/non pool users can utilize the bleacher area, which has a capacity of over 500 people that can be accessed from the upper hallway. Swim hours are posted below and are subject to change.All BOE programs/events have first priority of the poolAll visitors must vacate the building no later than 15 minutes after the posted closing timeAligning with local and state guidelines as well as with the CT Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) we are letting you know that masks will no longer be required to wear when participating, instructing or watching any of our sport programs, youth & adult classes or at aquatic activities that we oversee effective, February 28, 2022.If you or your child still wish to wear one, feel free to do so.
