Clinic Staff & Format
Clinics will be instructed by the Director, Jen Hapanowicz and Kelley Larsen and the USA Elite Training Softball Coaching Staff.  Players will be broken up into skill and age groups during each clinic session. For complete bio of staff go www.usaelitetraining.com

All Skills Program
The daily program will emphasis drills to improve individual skill of throwing, fielding, and catching. Players will learn the correct sequence of hitting mechanics, and the importance of balance and rhythm during their swing.  Player will be taught how to maximize the power in their swing with correct weight transfer and hand path to the ball. The short game skills will be introduced as well during the offensive portion of the clinic.  In addition, the fundamentals of each position (double plays, covering bases, cutoffs etc.) and defensive and offensive strategies will be covered.   This program includes base running, sliding, diving, and selecting
the proper equipment for the individual position and live game situations. 

Pitchers & Catchers Program
Each day the pitchers and catchers will spend the first half of the clinic working on specific skills for their position. Pitchers will learn the correct fundamentals of windmill pitching including: how to grip and snap the 2 and 4 seam fastball, drills to improve arm circle speed and mechanics, drills to improve balance and explosion in the pitching motion.  The goal of clinic is to improve accuracy and speed. The beginning pitchers will work on Change-ups and the advance pitchers will work on spins for various pitches.  All pitchers will work on fielding position, and how to set batters up. All pitcher speeds will be checked via radar gun and spin rotation via the Rev Fire.  The catcher skill work will include learning the proper stances, framing, throwing techniques, blocking, pick off plays, fielding bunts, passed balls and how to call a game.

Clinic Fees: All Skills $119, Pitchers/Catchers $99, Both $199
register after May 30 additional $25 charge.  Non Monroe residents and Non-USA Elite Members additional $20 fee
