Welcome to the Town of Monroe Parks & Recreation Department

You have found the Town of Monroe Parks & Recreation Department. This website is the communication center of the department. We try to keep it up to date with information about what we do. Check back here often!

Are you missing out on important email notifications...make sure you have selected to receive email blasts. If you are unsure, please email us at parksandrec@monroect.org and we will be happy to make sure this is set up.

You can now pay for programs online with your debit/credit card...there is no need to send credit card authorization forms.  We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover.  If you do not create an online registration and we have to do this in our office for you, an additional $10 fee will be assessed.

If paying by check you will not be registered for the program until we have received payment, opened your invoice and applied payment.  When paying by check the Monroe Police Dept requires that you include your drivers license number on the check.

Wolfe Park vehicle stickers and swimming passes plus Lake Zoar passes will be available at the Wolfe Park pool bathhouse beginning May 18 12:00-7:00 weekends and 3:00-7:00 weekdays.  Beginning May 25 they will be available during regular pool operation hours.  You will need to bring your drivers license and car registration(s).  For Lake Zoar you will also need your boat registration plus safe boating certificate.

12:00–7:00
Memorial Day weekend thru the last day of Monroe school
10:00–8:00
During Monroe summer school vacation until mid August
10:00–7:00
Mid August until Labor Day
